Hayley's Birthday Celebration

For Hayley's birthday we took her and 2 of her friends to a Bounce place near us. This is Hayley going down one of the first slides they conquered. Clearly, she is LOVING it!!!

 Boxing anyone!? I didn't think to ask any of the girls if those gloves were heavy or not, being that large and all....I'll ask Hayley in the morning!

I didn't want to overwhelm anyone with TONS of pictures so I just chose a few out of over 70 to sum up what a great night we had. And that Spongebob hat? Handmade just for Hayley by someone my mom works with. The perfect gift for Hayley. I should have uploaded the picture of Hayley opening the hat it shows the look on her face perfect!!! Maybe another day!!!

Happy 9th Birthday Hayley!!!!

Nine years ago today  Hayley was born at 9:29 a.m. by emergency c-section. She was 12 days late. I had been in labor for 12 hours when they made the call to do the c-section. Thankfully they did because her cord was wrapped around her neck...twice if I am not mistaken. I have spent 1/2 an hour searching for my newborn pictures of her but they are currently missing. =( I wanted to upload her newborn picture for ya'll to see.

Gosh my baby has grown so much! I know, I know, they are suppose to do that! But darn it, I don't want her to! I'll be back later with pictures of her special day!!!!

Today Hayley started 4th grade!

As you can tell she really doesn't look too excited...

Until of course Grandma got in the picture with her!!!

So yes, my princess is officially a 4th grader now!!! She came home today and told us 4th grade is way better. And that in fourth grade they are taking a charter bus with a TV and a BATHROOM on a field trip. I just chuckled and let her ramble on. I don't want to want to disappoint her and tell her there is more to 4th grade than just fun and field trips....She will find that out soon enough!

Sweet Potatoes Anyone?

Ok so can someone please give me some ideas to cook these? Preferably a one serving idea? Some where I read that sweet potatoes are good to eat when you are trying to conceive and well I'll try anything at least once....So if you have any ideas send me a comment!!!

So quiet......

Hayley left for her dad's today...wait since it's 3:30 in the morning I guess technically she left yesterday. For 10 whole days..Its so quiet with out her radio playing while she sleeps. I guess I really do enjoy hearing the music.
I'm going to miss her, but at the same time this is my last chance to get any major things done before school starts. Gosh I can't believe that. She comes home September 5th and goes back to school September 6th.  I can't believe my darling is going in to 4th grade!!! I wish I had a new picture of her to upload but I don't think I've taken many pics lately....I will have to check my cellphone and see what I can find...LOL
Okay okay so I looked but about all I found was some older pics of my garden (that part of lived and part of didn't live as well), the cats(being either stupid or really cute) and just random junk or people. Nothing really worth uploading tonite. Maybe later.
Anyways, it IS almost 4 a.m. and I have to be up at 9 so i better get to bed!


P.S. My period finally started on its own a few days ago, maybe my cycle is just a little bit longer than I thought...I think I better go back and do some counting to see if this has been normal all along...hmmm

One day....

One day I might get this daily blogging thing down but for now I think I'll aim for even just once or twice a week. LOL I meant to come back that same day after my last post but was too busy upset to really sit down and blog. All though now that I think about it maybe it would have made me feel a little better. Oh well.
However, the question still stands. Why does getting pregnant have to be so difficult? I should have known it wouldn't be easy and so far I am not wrong. Not only am I not pregnant but I am not even getting my period anymore. Go figure. Just my body's way of saying "screw you!"
I did talk to the dr at my yearly and she did mention that it can take 6 to 12 months to get pregnant after going off the pill so we will just wait and see. After 12 months she said then we start testing.I am afraid to even think about how much that is going to cost since I am sure our insurance isn't going to cover any of it. *sigh* 
Anyways, thats whats going on lately in our lives..Well of course there is other things too but you know what I mean....
